I recently took a family holiday to Florida, and was determined to bring something back into our country from the beautiful State of Florida. On my last day, I walked into a shop and saw this sat there – and knew it was the one! It’s a one-owner early 1960s National Model 85 electric bass guitar. This one had been in Florida all its life, and had recently been walked into the shop. I couldn’t resist! It comes complete with the original moulded case. The Res-O-Glass body is in brilliant condition – better than all the others I’ve seen. You can see a few light hairlines around the jack input which is classic of these res-o-glass bodies. Otherwise really good.
The coolest thing about this – and the reason I’ve left it on – is that Ludwig Silver Sparkle wrap covering the original pickup. I love that, and it adds even more character to an already beautiful guitar! You will not find many more of these in Europe! Please see the pictures as they form part of my description.
