This is a wonderfully rare original Mark 1 ‘Black Panel’ 1950s Watkins Dominator V Front. It’s one of the cleanest I have ever seen. You often see the blue panel version of this V fronted amplifier, but black panel was only made for a few months in the 1950s. The sound is to die for – basically like an 18w Marshall bluesbreaker. This one has been serviced not too long ago, to a high standard, with all the parts replaced coming inside a little bag with the amplifier. This comes complete with the original Elac 10″ speakers which work great, and the majority original valves too! It required a transformer replacement, as pictured, but the original also comes with the amplifier, and could be repaired. It is a great 1950s valve amplifier – you’ll not be disappointed!
